Ladies Golf Association
The Greene Hills Ladies Golf Association (LGA) provides opportunities for recreation and good fellowship. It also creates enthusiasm for golf, and promotes a spirit of friendly competition.
We promote golf and friendship for all levels of women golfers! The LGA was established in 1973 and currently has over sixty members ranging in age from 14-80+! The LGA sponsors the following events, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Ladies Golf Clinic
- LGA Member-Guest Tournament
- Tuesday Night Match Play League
- Celebrate Virginia (BYOT)
- Octoberfest
- Mixed Captain's Choice
- 18-Hole Scotch Foursomes
Our LGA members play competitive match play in both the Ladies League of Virginia (handicaps under 20) and the Jefferson League (handicaps over 20).
In addition, Greene Hills sponsors the Ladies Member-Member Tournament and the Club Championship, which are open to all women golfers at the club.
LGA Benefits
- Enjoy special events (i.e. Winter social, Spring brunch and Fall brunch)
- Participate in the Ringer Board (The prizes are fantastic!!)
- Reduced entry fees into certain LGA sponsored events
- Membership includes the LGA Handbook, which contains schedules, rules, contact information of fellow lady golfers, and more!
